My Mission

Is to empower my clients to show up, take control back of their life through learning skills of best practice approaches, and feel like themselves again; reaching the goals they set out to conquer. There are so many therapists out there. A therapeutic relationship is so important to jive with the person you are working with to maximize the results of the goals you are seeking. I believe in transparency and want to make sure you are aware of my style of practice as I may not be a good fit for all. I am direct because I want you to succeed. I am not a therapist that will just listen, sit and nod. I provide constructive feedback and will challenge you to help you to succeed in the changes you are striving for.

About Eunoia Wellness Counseling

Eunoia means Beautiful Thinking in Greek. The name was inspired by the Greek names I give my betta fish in my office. Betta keeping began in Thailand (formerly Siam) and they were named Siamese fighting fish. King of Siam gave them to a physician who studied them and discovered that the name he selected was already used. Charles Regan renamed them Betta meaning Beautiful Warrior. Lotus flowers represent new beginnings, purity, enlightenment and rebirth. Eunoia Wellness Counseling logo is a betta fish with the lotus flower as its tail.
